Who we are

Pool Deck Lady — owned by Rose Klempner, Port Charlotte, Florida, serving Charlotte, DeSoto and Sarasota counties.

This policy covers this website, its forms, and the calls, texts and emails that follow from them.

What we collect

What you type into our forms. Name, phone, email, property address, city and county, deck details (surface, size, condition, last sealed, color), preferred dates, and anything you write in the message box.

• Address suggestions. What you type in an address field goes to an OpenStreetMap-based lookup to suggest matches. Nothing else goes with it, and we don't store it.
• Reseal drafts. An unfinished request is saved in your own browser so you don't lose it. It never leaves your device and is erased on submit.

Automatically. Standard server logs — IP address, browser, pages viewed, time. No accounts, and no tracking of you across other websites.

Google Ads measurement (only if you agree). We advertise locally and like to know which ads bring neighbors to us. Only if you choose “Accept all” in the cookie notice does a Google Ads tag load, recording that a visit or form submission happened; “Essentials only” keeps it switched off. Change your mind any time through Manage Consent Preferences.

From embedded files. Fonts, photos and the hero video load from outside providers, which see your IP address as part of delivering them.

How we use it

Only to do the job you asked about:

• Answer, quote, and schedule a visit
• Do the work — order materials, send the crew to the right address
• Send confirmations, reseal reminders and warranty follow-ups
• Keep estimates, invoices and job records for tax, warranty and insurance
• Meet legal requirements and handle any dispute or claim
• Show completed work in our gallery and on social media — never with your name or address. Ask us to remove a photo any time through Notice & Take Down.

No mailing list you didn't ask for.

Calls, texts and email

Giving us your number means we may call or text you about your request, appointment or work in progress. Carrier rates may apply. Reply STOP to end texts, or just tell us.

Form submissions reach our inbox through a form-delivery service acting on our behalf. Email isn't secure — don't send card, bank or ID numbers through it.

Who we share it with

Only where the work requires:

• Service providers — form delivery, email, phone, scheduling, invoicing and payments. They may only use it to provide that service to us.
• Crew, subcontractors and suppliers — usually the address, the scope of work and a contact number.
• Our accountant or insurer, where required.
• Legal disclosures — where the law, a subpoena or someone's safety requires it.

We do not sell your information

We don't sell your details, hand them to advertisers to follow you around other websites, or use them to build a profile or make automatic decisions about you. In legal terms: no sale of personal data, no sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, no profiling with legal or similarly significant effects. If that ever changed, this page would say so first and you'd get a way to opt out.

How long we keep it

• Inquiries that don't become jobs — about 24 months.
• Job records — estimates, invoices and warranty details, at least 7 years, as tax and warranty rules require.
• Take down requests — only as long as it takes to act, plus a note that it was done.
• Photographs — until you ask us to remove them.

Ask us to delete sooner and we will, unless a record is legally required.

Your choices and your rights

At any time, ask us to:

• Tell you what we hold about you, or give you a copy
• Correct anything wrong
• Delete it, where we're not required to keep it
• Stop calling, texting or emailing
• Remove a photograph of your property

Call {{ phone }} or email {{ email }}. We respond within 45 days, free, and asking never affects your price or service. Florida residents hold these rights under the Florida Digital Bill of Rights. If your state grants more, tell us and we'll honor those.

Cookies and this website

No advertising or analytics cookies. This site stores only two things in your browser: that you dismissed the cookie notice, and any unfinished reseal request. Clear both in your browser settings.

Embedded fonts, photos and video may set their own cookies under their own policies. We don't track you across sites, so a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal has nothing to switch off — we honor it regardless.

Changes to this policy

Changes are posted here with a new effective date, and material changes are noted on the home page for 30 days. Continuing to use the site means the updated policy applies.
